Welcome! This add-on draws inspiration from Minecraft: Java Edition's Debug Stick, starting from version 1.13 and beyond. It lets you easily adjust block properties by tapping or interacting with blocks, just like in the Java version.
This addon is inspired by Minecraft: Java Edition's Debug Stick and replicates its functionalities:
- Modify block properties by tapping on them.
- Interact with blocks to select specific properties for alteration.
- Receive messages on your action bar for guidance.
Enhancements include:
- The ability to modify block properties without the need to crouch while flying, a feature not present in Java.
- Ability to get some useful info about a block by sneaking and clicking/tapping on it.
However, due to platform disparities, not all block properties from Minecraft Java are transferrable here. Only those supported by Bedrock are currently accessible. We hope you enjoy experimenting with these block properties!
Block Viewer
This add-on introduces a new exclusive feature not available in Java: the block viewer. It's very convenient; you only need to sneak and tap/click on the block to access useful information about it.
It includes useful details such as:
- Block identifier
- Block location
- Static properties
- Block state properties
- Tags available on the block
Static properties are details available on all blocks, consisting of:
- matter state - The state of matter of the block, which can be solid, liquid, or gas.
- hard block - Whether the block is impassable by entities, excluding chests, stairs, doors, beds, etc.
- redstone power - The current redstone power emitted by the block. It's maximum is 15 and always 0 if the block is not a hard block.
This feature was added in version v1.6.0 and is only available in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 1.20.60 and above.
